ECE ÇAKIROĞLU
Ece Cakiroglu (Director) graduated from King’s College London with a degree in BSc Business Management. Being a self-portrait photographer, she is fascinated by visual psychology in storytelling. To explore her passion for visual arts, she earned her Masters degree in Directing at the School of Visual Arts in New York graduating with Paula Rhodes Excellence Award.
Her directorial debut, Cracks, has won ‘Best Mystery Short’ (twice) and ‘Best Female Director’ from worldwide festivals.
Along with her work in cinema, she is an abstract painter who relies on her ‘breath’ as a tool to create artworks that are one of a kind and cannot be done twice.
‘All the words unspoken are written on each of my paintings, those who can read one’s soul, can read what’s written on them.’
